Description - Mambila tribes occupy present day Cameroon and Nigeria. Their cermonies and rituals utilize various carved effigies. This piece is a male and female (with proper anatomical parts) conjoined at the back. Ceremonially it depicts how two very different things can be conjoined to create something new and distinct. It depicts unity with diversity.
