#1737 - 1853 Swedish Bible - Provenance

Description - This Swedish Bible was published in 1853 and is complete with 897 pages.

Size - 9.2" x 7.2" x 2.2" thick. The uniqueness of this Bible is that it was brought to the U.S. by Mary Johnson Lundahl (1850-1924) when she immigrated to Moline, Illinois from Sweden. She was the mother of Fred Lundahl (1883-1930) who was the Founder, President and General Manager of the Buddy L Corporation, a manufacturer of steel toys.

Condition - Intact but rough condition covers and spine. Pages are much better, though some staining in spots. There are many leaves from plants and trees in the Bible. No doubt momento's of another time and place.
